Today, the Jordan News Agency said, King Abdullah II chaired a meeting at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management to find out the latest details related to the accident and its consequences.
The agency added: “During the meeting, which was attended by Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince from Aqaba, from Aqaba, the King expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the (martyrs of duty) who died as a result of the tragic accident, praying to God to have mercy on them, and bless the injured.” get well really soon”.
And she continued, “The king, who has been following the Crown Prince and the Crown Prince since the first moments, stressed the details of the incident and the operations of the evacuation and rescue efforts, the need to provide transparent explanations to public opinion about everything that happened through the results of the investigation, identifying mistakes and holding the negligent accountable according to the law.”
The Jordanian monarch stressed the importance of taking the necessary precautionary measures and precautions to prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future, and praised the efforts of the Jordanian armed forces and security services, especially the civil defense and civil and military medical cadres, for their speedy response and high professionalism in dealing with the incident, and evacuating the injured to hospitals.
And he indicated that “these efforts contributed to saving lives and reducing losses, wishing safety for those who were injured in the field while carrying out their official duties.”
The agency stated that, “During the meeting, the Crown Prince spoke about his visit today to the site of the accident, and his reassurance of the wounded and injured who are lying on the recovery bed, and he praised the speedy response of all concerned authorities, noting that things at the site and in Aqaba are under control and returned to normal, and stressed the importance of Continuing cooperation and coordination between the concerned authorities, and that everyone is awaiting the results of the investigation.
Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh presented the details of the incident and the measures implemented by the relevant agencies to contain the damage caused by it, as an investigation team was formed, headed by the Minister of Interior, to find out its causes, and Al-Khasawneh confirmed that “life in Aqaba has returned to normal, after the competent authorities ensure the safety of air and water.
