The Minister of Supply added, in a statement, today, Monday, that the Holding Company for Food Industries had pumped large quantities of all kinds of commodities into it.
Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, received a report from the Holding Company for Food Industries. The report stated that consumer complexes will open their doors daily to citizens from the morning to provide their needs for food commodities, in addition to disbursing the food commodities prescribed on the support card by the supply outlets as well.
The report received by the minister indicated that there are more than 1,100 types of these goods and they are pumped daily into consumer complexes with the intensification of the exhibits in case of an increase in demand from citizens.
Ahmed Kamal, the official spokesman for the ministry, the deputy minister, said that the report received from the holding company also included the establishment of a central operations room in each of the wholesale companies and complexes companies to follow up on the availability of goods and the opening of complexes alternately according to the decisions specified for that.
Kamal indicated that Minister Ali Al-Maselhi stressed the control sectors in the ministry and the supply directorates by tightening control over commercial and catering activities to follow up on the availability and quality of goods, announcing prices for each commodity, and establishing an operations room in each directorate to follow up on bakeries and the regularity of disbursing bread to citizens, and outlets for distributing food commodities during the Eid holiday. from the Ministry’s outlets.
