Today, Saturday, the Egyptian Company for the Management and Operation of the Underground announced the continuation of Ramadan dates for the operation of trains during the Eid days.
The company explained, in a statement, the completion of all preparations for receiving metro lines for the Eid Al-Fitr celebrations, in order to ensure the provision of the best possible services to the public of passengers during the days of Eid, while continuing with the dates of the month of Ramadan in extending operating hours during the days of Eid.
The company has prepared a schedule for operating trains during the days of the month of Ramadan, while continuing until the end of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr vacation, as the operating hours from the terminal stations start at 5:15 am throughout the year, provided that the trains are met between the first and second lines at Anwar Sadat Station. At 1 am, and trains meet between the second and third lines at Ataba station at 12:55 am.
A metro company confirmed that the preparations included ambulance points inside the stations, to follow up on sudden sick cases of the elderly and people with special needs and emergency cases. The Transport and Communications Police and the Metro Police to set up fixed checkpoints in stations and mobile ones inside trains, with the presence of the women’s police to detect any violations or all forms of negative phenomena and address them immediately, and this comes during the operating hours of the day.
