Talks continue about the future of Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong, the first team midfielder in Barcelona, and the possibility of his departure from Barca during the coming period, according to the latest press developments received today, Friday.
Frenkie de Jong joined Barcelona in the summer of 2019 from Ajax Amsterdam, and the midfielder has a contract with Barca until June 30, 2026.
And the Spanish newspaper “Sport” conducted a referendum on its website, asking Barcelona fans if they wanted to sell Dutchman De Jong.
The Dutchman has not provided the expected return from him since joining Barcelona, and sources have confirmed that Eric Ten Hag, the new coach of Manchester United, may make an offer to include his former player in Ajax.
The offer that will be presented by United, is expected to be financially profitable, and it would be better if Barcelona get the money to support its ranks by supporting other players.
