The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques published beautiful pictures of the first ten days of Ramadan in the Grand Mosque.
Large crowds of worshipers and pilgrims in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque performed prayers during the first ten days of Ramadan in an atmosphere of faith full of supplications and supplications to God Almighty, in the presence of a number of officials and workers in the relevant authorities.
On the other hand, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, represented by the Agency for Public Relations, Institutional Communication and Community Partnerships, received more than 150,000 pilgrims and visitors during the first ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan, and distributed to them a number of gifts containing Zamzam water, prayer rugs and Iftar meals .
The Under-Secretary-General for Public Relations, Institutional Communication and Community Partnerships, Adel bin Obaid Al Ahmadi, explained that the agency’s initiative aims to receive 500,000 pilgrims and visitors in three phases that extend throughout the holy month, during which pilgrims and visitors will be received.
He added that this comes within the framework of the Agency’s keenness to play its societal role, which emphasizes the benign Islamic values adopted by the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, and in line with its objectives towards great interest in community initiatives that achieve intimacy, love, cohesion and solidarity among members of society.
